When they heard it
Someone in your life has a story like this one.
You already know it. That is the whole qualification — you answer the questions, and our songwriters do the writing.

“But they're impossible to buy for.”
That is usually the point. Someone who already owns everything, or who insists on nothing, cannot be given another thing. But nobody already owns a song about their own life. It cannot be returned, outgrown, or found in a shop, and it can never be recreated for anyone else — it is built from what you alone know about them.
“I'm not a writer.”
You don't have to be. Daphne answered a few questions, the way you would text a friend. Our songwriters turned those answers into the song you just heard.
“What if it misses?”
Then you tell us and we make it right. Every song carries a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so the risk of finding out is not yours to carry.
“Is it worth it?”
Custom songs typically cost $500 and up. This costs a fraction of that, arrives inside a week, and is theirs for the rest of their life.

[0:00] My name is uh Daphne and my husband is Greg. [0:04] Um, I hesitated at first in having this song made because [0:08] like most people, it's just the unknown, is it going to turn out right? [0:13] Um, what would be the occasion? And then, um, after our wedding anniversary was approaching, [0:21] I felt that it was time. [0:24] Let me go through with this. [0:26] And when I did receive the song, I was so so impressed and so happy that I had done it. [0:35] And again, it was for a 13th wedding anniversary. [0:38] Uh, the reason for me doing this song for him specifically is that he's the man that I actually waited for. [0:44] I hadn't been married 35 years prior to someone who didn't appreciate me. [0:50] And um, did not treat me like the the person that I am, [0:55] which is very loving and caring, and he treats me very kindly. [0:58] And I really wanted to show him my appreciation. [1:02] When he heard it, he apparently thought at first that it was just another love song because I make, I send him love songs all the time. [1:10] But when he heard his name and different things that uh related to us, such as the city from which I came, etcetera, [1:19] he realized that it was a song for him. [1:21] And then the audience reaction, because we had guests at the house for our anniversary, [1:27] was really very telling and very um made it for even more dramatic and interesting. [1:33] Um, if you have been hesitant in having this done, I would like to suggest that like I did, [1:40] just go ahead with it, and it's going to be well worth it in the long run. [1:43] Because he has played it several times since then, he enjoys it. [1:47] He has shared it with his family members who weren't even here, and they enjoy it. [1:51] And we have that to always remember our very special 13th anniversary.
The words they heard
[Verse 1] Thirty-five years I gave to a heart That never saw the treasure I was Then I let go, and I started to heal Two years of quiet, learning to trust A Jacksonville table, a stranger's kind eyes And somehow I knew, this was my prize [Chorus] Oh Greg, you're the man that I waited for The love I prayed I'd finally know Every mile of that long Tampa road Brought you home, brought you home to my soul Thirteen years and you still make me glow [Verse 2] You made that drive on a Thursday night Just to dance with me under the lights My friends all loved you, my children too You became "Dad G," their world grew new GG to Josiah, fishing at his side A kindness in you I wear with pride [Chorus] Oh Greg, you're the man that I waited for The love I prayed I'd finally know Every mile of that long Tampa road Brought you home, brought you home to my soul Thirteen years and you still make me glow [Bridge] Eleven nights in that cold hospital chair You would not leave, you were always right there Prayerful and steady through the storm and the strain Your faith is the anchor that carries our name [Verse 3] From Morocco skies to the Switzerland snow You're my tour guide wherever we go Watermelon smiles by the poolside sun My best friend, my lover, my prayerful one Greg, we walk each morning hand in hand Growing stronger, just as we planned [Chorus] Oh Greg, you're the man that I waited for The love I prayed I'd finally know Every mile of that long Tampa road Brought you home, brought you home to my soul [Outro] A keeper, a giver, forever my own With you, my love, I am finally home
